If you ask Wendy Haines when she started making art, she’s likely to tell you that she doesn’t know, she’s been creating since she can recall. But we do know that when she was older, she took part in a 3-year-long independent art study, where she was able to practice with multiple mediums and techniques. With her wealth of experience and training behind her, she began to develop and refine her own style of art. Now, Wendy is known for creating delicate, refined jewelry pieces, whimsical, balanced paintings, and as being a generous mentor to the surrounding community of artists.

Samantha Haines started her journey into art at a young age, like most, but was swept into a different path—getting a college degree and beginning work. During her senior year of college, she became reignited with a passion for art and decided to focus on studies of graphic design, digital art, and jewelry making. Since graduating, she has honed her craft through trial and error, endlessly stretching the boundaries of what she is capable of, and subsequently creating art that is bright, thoughtful, and simply never fails to bring a smile to your face.
Wendy and Samantha recently started Nova Creative, a family venture that sells DIY art kits, with the hopes of spreading their passion and love for art to as many people as possible.
